In July 2025, Threaded Marketing Group (TMG) celebrated a major milestone: our 10-year anniversary. What began around a kitchen table has grown into a nationally recognized, full-service marketing firm known for seamlessly blending strategy and creativity. As we stepped into this new chapter, it became clear that our logo needed to evolve with us, reflecting who we are today and where we’re headed.

Looking Back:
Honoring the Original Vision

Our original logo featured a square—a symbol of creativity and a nod to thinking “outside the box.” It captured our early days of bold ideas, scrappy determination, and a willingness to challenge convention. That spirit is still alive. But our depth, our team, and our impact have grown.

From Refresh to Rebrand:
Embracing the Challenge

We initially saw this as a simple update to our logo—a fresh coat of paint on a strong foundation. However, as we explored new designs, we quickly realized that we had outgrown our original visual identity. The square, once a central part of our brand, became a key point of debate. Should it stay? Should it evolve?

What started as a refresh turned into a much deeper challenge. We needed a brand identity that honored where we started, while clearly reflecting who we are now and where we’re going.

The Process:

Over six months, our design team explored more than 150 logo concepts across 11 rounds of creative development. It wasn’t quick, but it was deliberate. We collaborated across teams, gathered honest feedback, and asked trusted industry peers for input. Their insights helped validate the final choice and gave us confidence that the new logo truly represents the evolution of TMG.

The Result: A Brand Identity That Threads It All Together

Today, Threaded is a team of over 30 experts working across the country, helping clients win work, build brands, and achieve results. But our roots remain strong. Yes, we still gather around Kelly Jo’s kitchen table when it’s time to dream big and plan what’s next.
