Threaded Marketing Group (TMG) is proud to announce that Founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Kelly Jo Jefferis was selected for Charlotte Business Journal’s “2022 Most Admired CEO” award. These awards recognize established local leaders who have a strong vision for their companies, have shown commitment to culture in the workplace, and made significant contributions to the Charlotte community.
A woman-owned full-service strategic marketing and communications firm, TMG is based in the Carolinas and serves clients throughout the United States and Europe. Kelly Jo founded TMG at her kitchen table seven years ago with one employee. Since then, TMG has since grown 200% year over year with a 98% repeat client rate. The firm currently boasts two divisions under Kelly’s Jo’s leadership of 75+ clients and a team of 30 employees.
TMG’s tremendous growth is in no small part due to Kelly Jo’s innate ability to bring together hand-selected team members to strategically target a client’s needs. She figures out what is missing from a client’s overall marketing plan and determines the best way to get the biggest impact for the least amount of dollars. Kelly Jo is passionate about adding threads of consistency throughout a client’s brand with a focus on strengthening their brand in the marketplace and building a stronger connectivity between clients, customers, and the company itself.
In addition to business growth, Kelly Jo was honored for celebrating her team’s successes and creating a company culture of support and encouragement. One of her greatest attributes is assembling teams that work collaboratively and efficiently while enabling each team member’s individual strengths to shine. Kelly Jo is also closely involved in philanthropic efforts in her own community and routinely contributes to local school initiatives, donates to a local scholarship fund for student veterans, and supports several families each month through nokidhungry.org.
Nominations were open to the public December 2021 – April 2022, and came from members of the business community, within the honorees’ organizations and externally; and all honorees were selected by Charlotte Business Journal’s editorial team.
Kelly Jo and other honorees are featured in a special report in the June 17th issue of the Charlotte Business Journal. To find out more about the award, click here.
